Hike Rosario Pt to Lottie Pt, Deception Pass

It's Spring on the coast and let's enjoy the views of the water, sea birds and seals with views of the Olympics. We'll hike the peninsulas around Bowman Bay and get a view of Deception Pass bridge. 

Rating difficulty is 1, however if wet can be slippery and some climbing. The elevation is about 100 ft but there is many up and downs. Hike length is about 5 miles. Bring a lunch so we can stop and enjoy the views. 

LINCOLN PARK: WEST SEATTLE

Join EarthCorps and the Green Seattle Partnership as we work to make the forests and shoreline of Lincoln Park healthy! This West Seattle landmark is one of the city's largest and most popular parks. Its 135 acres are home to ball fields, playgrounds, trails, shoreline, and forest. We must act now to preserve the forests of the park for the enjoyment of future generations. Aggresive weeds like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry are choking out native vegetation and are bringing early deaths to Lincoln's trees.

DISCOVERY PARK: MAGNOLIA

Join EarthCorps and the Green Seattle Partnership as we work in one of Seattle’s premier parks! At 534 acres, Discovery Park is the largest city park in Seattle and includes beaches, mountain views, open meadows, dramatic sea cliffs, forest groves, active sand dunes, thickets and streams. The park helps to provide an open space of quiet and tranquility away from the stress and activity of the city, a sanctuary for wildlife, as well as an outdoor classroom for people to learn about the natural world. 

Join EarthCorps and the City of Mercer Island as we work in Pioneer Park! The park is 113 acres of forested habitat, the largest forested park on Mercer Island. It is home to over 70 types of birds and 12 different mammals. It also offers the most extensive trail system on the island.
