Zoo offers seasonal blend of poop-ular Zoo Doo compost during the holidays!

WHAT: This year, the Grinch is heading to Pooville to steal his very own batch of holidoo. The seasonally blended compost was specially crafted by Woodland Park Zoo’s own Dr. Doo, aka the “Princess of Poo,” the “GM of BM” or the “Grand Poopah.” Holidoo consists of compost and bedding, featuring a rich blend of species feces contributed by the zoo’s non-primate herbivores such as hippos, giraffes, mountain goats, tapirs and more.

Compost is the ideal present for garden enthusiasts or that person who seems to have everything. Get in on the steaming trend while supplies last. The festively packaged Holidoo product comes in 4- gallon containers and is available exclusively at the ZooStore during the holiday season.

Holidoo and Zoo Doo purchases benefit Woodland Park Zoo’s exemplary animal care, local and global wildlife conservation projects and hands-on environmental learning. Hurry, supplies are limited.

In addition to daytime zoo hours, shop for Holidoo nightly during WildLights! The zoo’s electrifying, after-hours event features over 600,000 energy-efficient LED lights that illuminate the paths of Woodland Park Zoo through dazzling displays of wild animals and exotic destinations. WildLights runs now through Monday, January 1, 2018, 5:30–8:30 p.m. nightly (WildLights will be closed December 24 and 25). For more information, visit www.zoo.org/wildlights.

COST: Holidoo 4-gallon buckets: $32. Zoo Doo 2-gallon buckets: $20. Zoo Doo pint-sized containers: $4.95.

WHERE: Holidoo is available at Woodland Park Zoo’s two ZooStore locations: ZooStore West at Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th & N. 56th Sts. and ZooStore South at N. 50th St. & Fremont Ave. N. Holidoo can also be purchased on the zoo’s website by visiting the ZooStore page.
